The New Teacher Academy provides the foundation for your career in the classroom while the Mentoring Program makes available the guidance and counsel of master teachers at the district and campus level.

As your partner in achieving instructional excellence, the New Teacher Academy, coupled with the Katy ISD District Mentoring Program and on-going Professional Learning initiatives, becomes the cornerstone for professional success.  In 2008, over 200 mentors at the district and campus level hosted, coached, consoled and supported teachers that were new to the profession.
