The Garden

The garden area is located near the barn and barnyard area. The area consists of several raised beds, a compost pile, fruit trees, and an arbor. The spring crops grown in the garden include: onions, corn, tomatoes, squash, peas, broomcorn, gourds, cucumbers, and beans. The fall crops are turnips, greens, broccoli, and cauliflower. Volunteers and special education students help with the maintenance of the garden.
