The Parent Centers, in partnership with the Katy Independent School District, seek to provide each parent member with educational opportunities that will positively affect the academic achievements of their children so that both parent and child value diverse cultures and become productive and successful citizens.
Los Centros de Padres, en cooperación con el Distrito Escolar Independiente de Katy, tratan de ofrecer a cada miembro oportunidades educativas que afectarán de manera positiva los logros académicos de sus hijos a fin de que tanto los padres como los niños valoren las diversas culturas y se conviertan en ciudadanos productivos y exitosos.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

Parent(s) of a student born outside the U. S. who has attended U. S. schools for 3 years or less and is currently enrolled in Katy ISD ONLY. (Immigrant Status)

Parent(s) of a limited English proficient student who is currently being served through the ESOL and/or bilingual program in Katy ISD ONLY. (LEP Status)
CRITERIOS DE ELEGIBILIDAD:

Tienen que ser padres de estudiantes nacidos fuera de los EE.UU. que hayan frecuentado una escuela de este país durante 3 años o menos y estén actualmente matriculados en el distrito de Katy ISD SOLAMENTE. (Condición de Inmigrante)

Tienen que ser padres de estudiantes con conocimientos limitados en ingles que estén actualmente matriculados en el programa de ESOL y/o en el programa bilingüe en el distrito de Katy ISD SOLAMENTE. (Condición de conocimientos limitados en el Inglés [LEP])
