Being devoted to ensuring our students and staff have the best software tools that support the Katy ISD curriculum is one of our strengths.  By continually evaluating the existing and researching the new software, we are committed to providing the best software to support the learning process and to further the inquisitive minds. Our Katy ISD courses rely on software applications to support anytime, anywhere collaborative learning. Our secondary campuses offer a wide-variety courses in which we support by offering the industry-standard software applications. Our software also supports students who need additional assistance, repetition, or to advance knowledge in a particular area.

Online Subscriptions

Katy ISD is committed to providing the most current and relevant resources to students while they are learning here at school as well as at home. These leading online subscriptions provide comprehensive and current information that is vetted by experts. Giving students a variety of age-appropriate resources such as, but not limited to, video, animations, simulations, audio files, timelines, and interactive text, provides each student with the best learning experience based on their preferences. Students can log in to MyKaty to access District resources. MyKaty​ will take you the educational resources that students will find beneficial in their knowledge journey.​

iTunes U

iTunes U is an exceptional resource for learners of all ages.  Ivy League Universities and many other educational organizations have added a vast amount of outstanding content that is readily available.  The  Texas Association of School Administrators (TASA) funded state certified teachers to create technology embedded lessons for 18 courses.  These courses available at no charge to school districts help transform Texas teaching and learning by providing course technology enriched content for classroom teachers in the four core subject areas of mathematics, science, social studies and English language arts.
