‚ÄčTime Allotments for Physical Education

Elementary School

Katy ISD maintains a standard for elementary students to complete 30 minutes MVPA (moderate to vigorous physical activity) daily or 135 minutes per week or 225 minutes per two weeks if in block schedule.

Junior High

Katy ISD maintains a standard for junior high students to complete six semesters of physical education.

High School

Katy ISD maintains a standard for high school students to complete 1 credit (2 semesters) of physical education.
