​​Water Quality​​


KISD has one technician managing water quality.  The water quality department includes:

  • Two public water systems
  • Two sewer treatment plants
  • Eleven lift stations
  • Seven storm water quality, including one for rain water harvesting
  • Ten permitted water wells

The wells produce enough water to meet the daily average water usage for 2,517 people for one year.
