​About Us

Primary Purpose:

The Office of Administration, Governance and Legal Affairs serves as the in-house authority on policy, discipline, and governance issues as well as federal and state compliance requirements in areas of responsibility. In addition, the Associate Superintendent for Administration, Governance and Legal Affairs serves as the District’s 504 and ADA coordinator and chief hearing officer for district-level discipline appeal hearings. Other responsibilities include the development of the District’s Discipline Management Plan and Student Code of Conduct, District Improvement Plan, 504 implementation procedures, instructional calendar, training of campus discipline hearing officers, Medicaid billing and reimbursements, community education, elections and assisting the superintendent with administrative tasks related to governance, planning, and compliance.
