​​​​​​Social Worker

The Social Worker is responsible for providing information regarding outside agencies/services and connecting  families to appropriate resources. The Social Worker is available to all students and families within Katy ISD.  Information and resources may include:

  • Connecting families with programs/agencies to address individual behavioral, social, and emotional needs.

  • Assistance with state and government supports such as Medicaid, TANF, SSI, and SNAP benefits.

  • Locating a medical/behavioral health professional to address individual or family issues.

  • Connecting families with services for children  with disabilities and long term state support resources.

  • Accessing the county Community Resource Coordination Group (CRCG) for additional outside supports for children.
