American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Training Course

Our Water Safety Instructor Course is for individuals wanting to teach swim lessons.  This is an American Red Cross course that will prepare participants to teach all levels of swimming starting at 6 month olds through adult levels.  Swimming skills are divided into 6 different levels from beginners to advanced.  This certificate is a 2-part course; half is done via internet and the second half is to be completed in a classroom setting where skills will be practiced and students will have the attention of an instructor.  Check out the links below for more information about these courses.  When you are ready to register and begin the web-based portion of the course download the manual from the link to the right and register by clicking the link below and following the instructions.  Participants will have to create a Red Cross account by using an email address and password.

WSI Course will be held at Tompkins High School in the Natatorium.  Address for OTHS is 4400 Falcon Landing Blvd. Katy TX 77494.   Please bring exact cash or check to the instructor on the first day of class.  Class times will be 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. both days.
