Licensed Specialists in School Psychology (LSSP)
Katy ISD has Licensed Specialists in School Psychology (LSSP) who can be
contacted through your campus administrators. The LSSP's provide a variety of
psychological services to students. A formal psychological consult requires the
written permission of a parent.
Katy ISD also has a Crisis Team that consists of trained individuals who can respond
to specific campus crises, i.e., death of a student(s). The Crisis Team assists
the campus to meet the needs of the students and to help the campus regain a
sense of normalcy. Counseling is provided as needed.
