KISD summer recreation "Volleyball
League"
brochures can be picked up from the junior high school campus athletic
coordinator or assistant athletic coordinator, the high school volleyball coach,
or the KISD athletic office. The volleyball league is for girls currently
enrolled in grade five (5) through grade ten (10).
KISD summer recreation
“Basketball League”
brochures can be picked up from the elementary physical education instructor,
the junior high school campus athletic coordinator or assistant athletic coordinator,
the high school head boys’ and head girls’ basketball coach, or the KISD
athletic office. The basketball leagues are for boys and girls currently
enrolled in grade five (5) through grade eleven (11).
KISD summer recreation "Tennis
Camp"
brochures can be picked up from the elementary physical education instructor,
the junior high school campus athletic coordinator or assistant athletic coordinator,
Catherine Bisby (Director of the summer tennis camps and head tennis coach at Mayde Creek Junior High) or the KISD athletic office. The summer tennis camps
are open to boys and girls currently enrolled in elementary, middle school, or
high school. There are a beginners group, an intermediate group, adult
group, advanced group, and an
advanced 2 group.
KISD summer recreation
"Swim Lesson Program"
will be offered at Katy and Taylor High School pools. The brochures
can be picked up from the elementary physical education instructor, the junior
high school campus athletic coordinator or assistant athletic coordinator, David
Youngblood (Director of the summer swim lesson program and assistant principal
at James E. Taylor High School) or Gayle Jones in the KISD athletic office. The swim
lessons are for boys and girls who
will be entering
kindergarten
as of August 2008 and for boys and girls who will be
below
the ninth (9th) grade level as of August 2008. Registration for both
locations will be held at the Taylor HS Pool Lobby.
KISD summer recreation "Recreational Swim"
will run from June 3 through August 8 at
Taylor High School Pool and Katy High School Pool. The cost is $1.00 per person per entry.
