Board Approves Attendance Boundary
Modification for High School No. 7

(Dec. 19, 2012) – During their December meeting, the Katy ISD Board of Trustees approved the recommended Attendance Boundary Modification for Katy ISD’s High School No. 7 that is slated to open in fall 2013. The modifications provide relief for Seven Lakes High School, moving several hundred ninth and tenth grade students to the new school. High School No. 7 will be led by Principal Mark Grisdale, former principal of Morton Ranch HS.

“Having the opportunity to open a new high school is a tremendous honor,” said Grisdale. “It is my mission to work with all members of the school community to foster academic growth and extracurricular excellence.”
