Jeanette Hayes Elementary: Heather Mulcahy, current assistant principal for Hayes Elementary, has been named as the new principal. Mulcahy has been with Katy ISD since 1998 when she joined as a second grade teacher at Diane Winborn Elementary. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Texas – Permian Basin, and a M.Ed. in Curriculum & Instruction from the University of Houston.
Rhoads Elementary: Carrie Lowery, current assistant principal at Hutsell Elementary, has been named as the new principal for Rhoads Elementary. Lowery started her educational career in 1996 with Lubbock ISD. She has been with Katy ISD since 2001. Lowery holds a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas Tech University, and a M.S. in Educational Management from the University of Houston – Clear Lake.
Diane Winborn Elementary: Dr. Kris Mitzner, current third grade teacher at Pattison Elementary, has been named as the new principal for Diane Winborn Elementary. Mitzner previously served five years as assistant principal at Cinco Ranch Junior High and has been with Katy ISD since 1993. Mitzner holds a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies, a M.Ed. in Curriculum & Instruction, and a Doctorate in Educational Administration – all from Texas A&M University.
Exley Elementary: Juli Noeldner, current principal of Mayde Creek Elementary, will move to Exley Elementary as the new principal. Noeldner has been with Katy ISD since 1992 when she joined Mayde Creek Elementary as a first grade teacher. She has continued to grow to positions of increasing responsibility at the campus. Noeldner holds a B.S. in Elementary Education from Baylor University, and a M.Ed. in Management from the University of Houston – Clear Lake.
Wolfe Elementary: Scott Wagoner, current assistant principal at Seven Lakes High School, has been named as the new principal for Wolfe Elementary. Wagoner began his teaching career in 1994 in Alief ISD. He has been with Katy ISD since 2008, when he joined as assistant principal at Mayde Creek Junior High. Wagoner holds a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies and a M.Ed. in Educational Leadership – both from Stephen F. Austin State University.
