HUGE Thanks!!!!

A HUGE thank you goes out to all of the parents, staff, staff husbands, sons, daughters, moms and grandmas who worked tirelessly on our playground. This was a 14 hour endeavor that ended with an extremely tired but very proud crew who hoisted, drilled,dug, ratcheted and cemented every piece of equipment in place! There were also many moms and staff who brought up water, ice, food, soft drinks and various other items for the crew to make their jobs go more smoothly! We are forever grateful! Our playground is complete and will be a source of joy for our kids for years to come! Our chairperson Carrie Patton ROCKS!!!! She has spent hours organizing the volunteers and food. Without her, this would not have been the success that it is! WAY TO GO PLAYGROUND PIPELINE!!!!

Important Upcoming Dates:

Here are some important dates that your family will need to know about to celebrate the opening of our beautiful new school!

August 11th - Student Registration from 9:00-11:00 and 1:00-3:00 at Bonnie Holland Elementary in our gymnasium (please enter through the side doors). Registration will occur each day thereafter EXCEPT for the following dates: August 13, August 15th, August 20th and August 22. Please note also that the first day of school, August 25th registration will begin at 10:00 am.

August 13th - Alaskan Family Adventure Night! This is an evening where families can tour our new building and begin our adventure together as the husky family! Entertainment and dinner are planned for this event as well! You will receive more information and pricing on the dinner in a letter that will come to each family at the beginning of August. 5:30-7:30

August 14th - Kindergarten Parent Information Night - This is an evening for incoming kindergarten parents only. There will be information provided on what your kindergarten students can expect and all of the exciting things planned for the kindergarten students in the upcoming year. We ask that no children attend this event so parents can hear all of the important information that is shared.This event is from 5:00-6:30.

August 20th - Classes are posted on the front windows of Bonnie Holland Elementary at 4:00pm! Come and find out who your new teachers will be!

August 21st: 9:00-3:00 School Supply Pick Up in the BHE Cafeteria. All parents who ordered school supplies will need to come and pick up supplies on this date. This is the ONLY opportunity to pick up supplies so please make arrangements with friends and neighbors if you are unavailable on this date.

August 21st: Mush to Your Room and Meet Your Teacher Night! Come and meet your new teachers, find out what new friends are in your class and see your new classroom! A fun family evening for all! 6:00-7:30pm

August 25th: The first EVER day of school at Bonnie Holland Elementary! Ribbon cutting ceremony at 8:00! Come join us as we mush into the new year!

Bonnie Holland Elementary Needs a Crossing Guard

We are in need of a crossing guard for our new school to keep our huskies safe in the morning and afternoon. This is a paid position and will require the crossing guard to work from approximately 7:55-8:25 each morning and from 3:25-3:45 each afternoon. We will provide training and equipment for the job!  School Colors and Mascot:
Our mascot will be the Huskies and our school colors will be midnight blue, silver, and white.

Holland Elementary Parent Organization:
Bonnie Holland Elementary will be a Parent Teacher Association (PTA).
