Volunteer Enrollment Option (VEO)

Seven Lakes and Cinco Ranch High School families impacted by the Attendance Boundary Modification have the option to apply for a one-time Volunteer Enrollment Option (VEO), which would allow those students grandfathered to remain at their current high school to instead choose to move to the new high school their neighborhood is zoned to attend.

Note: The deadline for applying for the VEO has now passed. No more applications will be accepted.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the VEO, a student must be currently enrolled in the 9th, 10th or 11th grade at either Seven Lakes High School or Cinco Ranch High School and live in one of the neighborhoods listed below. Student not living in one of the listed neighborhoods are not eligible for the Volunteer Enrollment Option.

Application Process

Volunteer Enrollment Option Applications can be downloaded below or picked up at the front office at SLHS or CRHS.

Completed applications will be accepted between March 1 and March 12. Students must complete the VEO application and submit it, along with the a signed copy of the Voluntary Option Guidelines, directly to:

Completed forms must be notarized and submitted no later than 4 p.m., Friday, March 12, 2010. Notaries will be on hand at the Educational Support Complex to assist with those needing this service.
