D., Director, Research, Assessment, and Accountability</div><div>Freda Creech, Ph.D., Executive Director, School Improvement and Student Support</div><div>DATE: April 10, 2014</div><div>SUBJECT: FEDERAL NCLB REPORT CARD DISTRIBUTION REQUIREMENTS</div><div>The 2013 No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Campus Report Cards were recently posted to the TEA and NCLB websites. There are compliance requirements for all campuses relating to making this information available to parents. These requirements changed this year, and there are no longer different requirements for Title I and non-Title I campuses. Links to the NCLB Report Cards have already been placed on the Katy ISD website and can be found at:</div><div>Requirements for ALL Campuses must be completed by May 1:</div><div>• Download and print the following components of your Campus (Campus Level Report option) and the Katy ISD District (District Level Report option) NCLB Report Cards from this link:</div><div></div><div>Components to print include:</div><div>o STAAR Performance Results – TAPR Student Groups</div><div>o STAAR Performance Results – Additional Student Groups</div><div>o 2013 System Safeguards</div><div>o Part IV Profile and NCLB – Highly Qualified Teachers Reports</div><div>o Postsecondary Readiness Indicators</div><div>o 2013 NAEP Information for District Report Cards</div><div>• One copy each of the district and campus NCLB Report Card must be made available for public viewing in your school’s front office.</div><div>• Include the following statement in your campus newsletter and/or provide notice in the way you typically send communications that need to go to all parents.</div><div>o Katy ISD is sharing information about the district and your child’s campus as part of our obligations under the federal No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 (NCLB). Public MeetingPublic Meeting2014-04-11T19:06:13Z<div class="ExternalClassF78E4A9B065D4EBB9A1A61B765A05003"><p><strong>PUBLIC NOTICE</strong></p><p>A public meeting has been scheduled for <strong>Tuesday, May 13, 2014 </strong>at <strong>1:00 p.m. </strong>in <span style="line-height:1.5;">the Katy Independent School District Educational Support Complex Boardroom </span><span style="line-height:1.5;">located at 6301 South Stadium Lane, Katy, Texas regarding the ESEA Title I, Title </span><span style="line-height:1.5;">II, Title III and IDEA B Special Education pr</span><span style="line-height:1.5;">ograms </span><span style="line-height:1.5;">as </span><span style="line-height:1.5;"> implemented in the 2013-</span><span style="line-height:1.5;">2014 school year and as proposed for 2014-2015 school year. The staff and the </span><span style="line-height:1.5;">public are invited to comment on the ESEA Title I Part A, Title II, Title III and </span><span style="line-height:1.5;">IDEA B Special Education programs.
