CLEAR BAG REGULATIONCLEAR BAG REGULATION2018-10-08T15:56:04Z<div class="ExternalClass8F4FC0467DF94829BC1A86495B260476"><p>​<strong>Clear Bag Regulation​​​<br></strong>​To ensure visitor safety, along with quick and efficient entry into our event venues, Katy ISD has instituted a Clear Bag Regulation. This will limit the size and type of bag allowed at sporting events, performances and graduations held at Rhodes and Legacy stadiums, as well as the Leonard Merrell Center (LMC), and the Katy ISD Livestock Show and Rodeo at the Agricultural Sciences Center. </p><p>While Katy ISD encourages visitors not to bring bags if possible, the following types of bags are permissible:</p><ul><li><p>Clear, plastic, vinyl or PVC bags <br></p></li><li><p>Clear, plastic, one-gallon, re-sealable, Ziploc-style bags<br></p></li><li><p>Clutch bags approximately the size of a hand (4 ½” X 6 ½”) <br></p></li><li><p>Medically necessary items <br></p></li></ul><p>Visitors who bring bags that do not meet the criteria outlined, will not be permitted entrance into the venue. </p><blockquote style="padding:0px;border:currentcolor;margin-top:0px;margin-right:0px;margin-bottom:0px;"><div><strong>Permitted Bags</strong></div><div><strong><img alt="""" src="/students/PublishingImages/Permitted_Bags.jpg" style="margin:5px;width:575px;height:306px;" /><br></strong></div><div><strong>Non-Permitted Bags</strong></div><div><strong><img alt="""" src="/students/PublishingImages/Non-Permitted_Bags.jpg" style="margin:5px;width:555px;" /><br></strong></div><div><strong><br></strong></div></blockquote><blockquote style="padding:0px;border:currentcolor;margin-top:0px;margin-right:0px;margin-bottom:0px;"><strong>Medical Items or Equipment</strong> <div><p>Visitors with medical items or equipment can enter any main facility entrance to have bags and equipment screened before admittance.​</p></div></blockquote><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p style="text-align:center;"><strong>Questions? ATHLETIC PHYSICALS ATHLETIC PHYSICALS 2019-05-09T15:18:53Z<div class="ExternalClass375D4F070AE74DF38BB468FE3BF7C3E8"><p><strong></strong></p><p><strong>If you are playing a sport you must complete the online athletic participation forms and </strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;"><strong>submit the athletic physical directly to the Sports Medicine Department at SLHS</strong></span><strong>, do not mail physical, email, drop off at main school building, or drop it off to anyone other than the Sports Medicine Department.  All documents must be dated after May 1</strong><strong><sup>st</sup></strong><strong> in order to be valid for the upcoming school year.</strong></p><p><strong>Online Athletic Participation Forms</strong></p><p>Online Athletic Participation Forms must be submitted annually. You may submit the forms online to make the process more convenient. Important health and safety information can be found within the Student/Parent Handbook provided on the SLHS Athletic website.</p><p>All required participation forms must be submitted before a student participates in any try-out, practice, athletic class, open gym, open weight room, athletic competition or travels with a KISD athletic team for any purpose.</p><p> <strong>Athletic Physical</strong></p><p>The only required form that cannot be completed electronically is the <strong>annual physical and medical history form</strong>.</p><p><a href="">Medical History and Physical Forms</a></p><p> You are encouraged to fill out the history portion of the form prior to printing. Parents will be able to print a physical and medical history form to take to your physician or school sponsored physical event during the electronic session.</p><p>• The student is required to use the Pre-Participation - Physical Examination Form; NO OTHER Physical Examination Form can be accepted as per the UIL (University Interscholastic League.)</p><p>• A new physical exam must be given prior to each school calendar year.</p><p>• Any physical administered prior to May 1, may not be valid.<br></p><p>• If the student has not played sports with Katy ISD before, the physical must be turned in first so an account can be created.  At that time the student will then be able to access the online website to fill out the participation forms.<br></p><p><span style="font-family:lato-reg;font-size:14px;"><strong> Summer hours for the Sports Medicine Department</strong><br></span></p><h4><span style="font-family:lato-reg;font-size:14px;color:#444444;">Monday - Thursday      8am-11am & 1pm-3pm<br></span></h4><h4><span style="font-family:lato-reg;font-size:14px;color:#444444;">June 3rd - June 6th                 July 1st - July 3rd</span></h4><h4><span style="font-family:lato-reg;font-size:14px;color:#444444;">June 10th - June 13th           July 11th & July 12th</span></h4><h4><span style="font-family:lato-reg;font-size:14px;color:#444444;">June 17th - June 20th           July 15th - July 18th</span></h4><h4><span style="font-family:lato-reg;font-size:14px;color:#444444;">June 24th - June 27th           July 24th & July 25th</span><br></h4><p><br></p><p>Questions?
