Creech Comets raise $5,603.32 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

Creech Comets came together to celebrate the $5,603.32 they raised for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.  Nurse Smith and our counselor Mrs. Wilson headed up the fundraiser encouraging students to see who could fill up the most cups in their classroom.   The 4th and 5th graders who participate in Read, Deed, Run made cards for children at the hospital and presented them at the celebration.  The entire school celebrated as they found out that from the money they raised will be able to help 500 children.   We are so proud of all of our Creech Comets and all of your support to make this happen!

Creech Elementary has been named a Digitally Certified School for 2016-2017 by Common Sense Media.  A big thanks goes to the technology team for the work they put in at our meetings.  Mrs. Wilson taught about privacy in her counselor lessons, and a big thank you goes to all of our teachers who taught about Digital Citizenship and created a Wordle.

Our commitment to teaching Digital Citizenship lessons demonstrates our continued effort to keep our students safe and make sure that they continue to grow as responsible and respectful users on the Internet.

Thanks again!
