Registration and Enrollment
Parents of students that are new to KATY ISD may pre-register online. Please note that pre-registration does NOT mean that your child has been enrolled in KATYISD. Parents MUST come to Registration to enroll their child. If it becomes necessary to add teachers and form additional classrooms, our procedure at Odessa Kilpatrick Elementary is to place students who were last enrolled into the new classrooms. Should this happen, we will do everything in our power to make this a smooth transition.
If you need further assistance, please contact Elizabeth Rondon at (281) 237-7622.
Please contact the school by 9:00 a.m. to report your child's absence. You can report the absence by calling the school (281) 237-7600 or reporting it online on the school website under the Parents tab or Other Links tab. You may report the absence the night before or early morning. Please leave your student's name, grade, teacher and the reason why he/she is unable to attend school.
Texas requires a child who is at least six years of age, or who is younger than six years of age and has previously been enrolled in first grade, and who has not yet reached his/her 18th birthday to attend school for the entire period the program is offered unless exempt by TEC 25.086. While students are not required to enroll in pre-kindergarten or kindergarten, once enrolled the students are required to attend school. TEC 25.085 and Board Policy FEA (LEGAL)
A student is considered tardy when the student is not in the proper place with all needed materials before the tardy bell rings. The school doors open at 8:00 a.m. Please help us get each day off to a good start by having your child in school on time.
Home Access Center (HAC)
The Home Access Center enables parents to access students' grades, assignments, test scores and absences, as well as allow parents to update basic contact information. If you are unable to log on to HAC, please contact the campus.
