Welcome to Franz Elementary Registrar/Attendance Page!

Absences

Written notes or doctor’s notes are required within three days of the absence.  If you do not call the front office or email the attendance clerk, your child will be marked UNEXCUSED.

AN ATTENDANCE LETTER IS SENT WHEN A STUDENT HAS 3 OR MORE UNEXCUSED ABSENSES IN A 4-WEEK PERIOD OR 10 OR MORE UNEXUSED ABSENSE INA 6-MONTH PERIOD.  

Arrivals

Please make sure your child arrives at school on time. The school day begins promptly at 8:20 a.m. The car drop off line can become extremely crowed in the morning. (Your child is never tardy when they ride the bus.)

Early Checkouts

If your child is checked out before 10:00 a.m. he/she will be considered absent. Any student that is checked out after 10: a.m. will have a partial day absence.

Students may NOT checkout out after 3:15 as they will be moving to their dismissal locations at this time.

Family Vacations

Please plan your vacations during the summer, Thanksgiving, Winter or Spring  Breaks. All absences for vacation during the school year are UNEXCUSED.

Home Access Center (HAC)  Letter

If you need a HAC letter or a student ID number, you may request one via email.

New Students

Registration Times are 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. daily. New students who arrive after 10:00 a.m. will not start school until the following day.

Please bring the following documents with you to register your child(ren). Copies will be accepted. Our school will NOT request any of the required documents from the previous school.

  • Birth Certificate
  • Social Security Card
  • Vaccination Record
  • Current Utility Bill Only (Gas, Water  or Electric) or Lease or Mortgage agreements.
  • Parent/Guardian ID
