EOC ExamSpring 2018 Test Date
English ITuesday, April 9, 2019
English IIThursday, April 11, 2019
Algebra IMonday, May 6, 2019
US HistoryWednesday, May 8, 2019
BiologyThursday, May 9, 2019

Students are required to achieve "approaches grade level", "meets grade level", or "masters grade level" on all five of the EOC assessments [English I, English II, Algebra I, Biology, and U.S. History] in order to meet Texas testing graduation requirements.

Students who are enrolled in CRHS will automatically be enrolled for testing.   Students not testing will attend their regular classes.

Students who attend Miller CTC:

If you are scheduled to take an EOC test, you WILL NOT go to Miller first.  You will come to CRHS.  Miller knows that you are coming to your home campus to test.

APRIL: If you are NOT scheduled to take an EOC test, you will follow your regular schedule at CRHS and Miller CTC

MAY: If you are NOT scheduled to take an EOC test, you will follow the alternate bell schedule.  Miller knows the updated bell schedule.  Continue to watch e-news and listed to announcements for more information closer to the testing week.

CRHS will be a closed campus for all five test dates

Parents of ALL STUDENTS, please do not schedule appointments during the testing window as the campus will be closed.  Attendance passes will not be issued from the attendance office that morning for students in any grade level, even if they are not testing on that date.

Students will not be permitted to leave their testing room after they have finished their test so that they are not disturbing the other testers.

Thank you for respecting this guideline.  Our first priority is always the safety of our students.  Our attendance clerks are busy each period on testing dates accounting for each and every student on campus and we need to keep them focused on that task.  Thank you so much for understanding and making allowances.

Closed campus times:

  • April 9 – 7:25-2:35
  • April 11 – 7:25-2:35
  • May 6 – 7:25-11:45
  • May 8 – 7:25-11:45
  • May 9 – 7:25-11:45

Testing Room Assignments:

Testing rooms will be assigned and posted in the hallways at 3pm the day prior to each EOC test.

Students need to bring the following items to each test:

  • Two #2 pencils
  • A book to read when they are finished testing.  (a novel, NOT a textbook or any other instructional materials)

Bell Schedule:

  • April – The bell schedule will not change.  Lunches for testing students will be at a different time and will all be in the 9th grade café.
  • May – CRHS will follow a modified bell schedule on May 6th, 8th, and 9th for EOC testing.  See attached schedule.

STAAR EOC scores from December 2018  and all other assessments are accessible in the Texas Assessment Data Portal, as well as in the Home Access Center (HAC). These will be the only ways to access your student's scores for STAAR. Please see the directions in the links to the right of this page for accessing scores through the Texas Assessment Data Portal.

For students who are eligible to test but have not yet achieved "Approaches Grade Level," "Meets Grade Level," or "Masters Grade Level" on English I, English II, Algebra, Biology or US History STAAR EOC will be automatically enrolled in Spring testing. (Note: A student is considered "eligible to test" if they have taken an assessment and not yet passed, if they have completed the course and haven't yet tested, were absent for testing during the school year, or went home ill during testing and were unable to complete the test.)
