STAAR EOC Spring and Summer Testing Results
STAAR EOC scores are available through the Home Access Center (HAC). Please follow the directions on the attached document to locate your student’s “Access Code” then go to the Texas Student Portal at https://txparentportal.emetric.net/login?returnUrl=/list to look up scores. Scores and copies of the students Confidential Student Report will no longer be mailed home. You must use the Student Portal to retrieve those items. If you are having trouble finding the Access Code in the HAC, you can click on “Lookup Access Code” on the above website and use the name, PEIMS ID (usually the social security number), and birthdate of the student you are trying to look up to get the Access Code.
Passing standard is now called “Approaches Grade Level”. Any score that falls in the Approaches Grade Level, Meets Grade Level, and Masters Grade Level is considered a passing score. Students who “Did Not Meet Grade Level” on their STAAR EOC will receive a letter in the mail.
Retesting opportunities for students who did not meet standard or who were absent for testing will be provided during the week of December 4-8, 2017. More information will be sent home in November. Students attending a Katy ISD school will not need to register for December testing and will automatically be enrolled by their campus testing coordinator.
Please contact Jenny Strait, CRHS Campus Testing Coordinator at 281-237-5184 or JenniferRStrait@katyisd.org if you have any questions.
See the attached document for further instructions.
Students are required to meet standard on all EOC assessments (English I, English II, Algebra I, Biology, and US History) in order to meet graduation requirements. If your child has completed one or more of these courses, during the previous school year or over the summer, and has not taken the test and met standard, they will need to take the EOC exam for that subject during the December testing window. Students attending Katy ISD schools will not need to register for this test and will automatically be enrolled by their campus testing facilitator. Please contact Jenny Strait if you have any questions.
