Looking up STAAR EOC Spring and Summer 2019 Scores

All scores for spring and summer testers may be accessed in the Texas Assessment Data Portal. This will be the only way to access your child's scores for STAAR. Please attached directions for accessing scores through the Texas Assessment Data Portal.

TELPAS and ALT 2 scores may be accessed using the Assessment Portal above as well.

For students who are eligible to test but have not yet achieved "Approaches Grade Level," "Meets Grade Level," or "Masters Grade Level" on English I, English II, Algebra, Biology or US History STAAR EOC will be automatically enrolled in December testing. (Note: A student is considered "eligible to test" if they have taken an assessment and not yet passed, if they have completed the course and haven't yet tested, were absent for testing during the school year, or went home ill during testing and were unable to complete the test.)

Retester notices will be sent through your student's second period class in late November.

PSAT 2019

Wednesday, October 16th from 7:25 am - 12:00 pm

ALL 10th and 11th grade students will be participating in the PSAT. Students who are enrolled in CRHS will automatically be enrolled in the PSAT test.   Freshman and Seniors will attend a "homeroom" study hall during that time.  Details will be released at a later date.

Parents of ALL STUDENTS, please do not schedule appointments during the testing window as the campus will be closed.  Attendance passes will not be issued from the attendance office that morning for students in any grade level, even if they are not testing on that date.

Thank you for respecting this guideline.  Our first priority is always the safety of our students.  Our attendance clerks and other staff are busy on testing dates accounting for each and every student on campus and we need to keep them focused on that task.  Thank you so much for understanding and making allowances.

MILLER STUDENTS: Sophomores and Juniors will NOT go to Miller Career Center in the morning and must report to CRHS by 7:25 am.  Seniors will keep to their regular Miller schedule.

Testing Room Assignments: Testing rooms will be assigned and posted in the hallways October 16th before school.

Students will need to bring the following items to the test:

·         Valid photo ID (school ID or driver's license)

·         Two #2 pencils

·         A College Board approved calculator

·         Social Security Number (if available)

·         Email address

The firm deadline for accommodation requests  through CollegeBoard's Services for Students with Disabilities for the PSAT is August 27th.  All requests must be received by the CRHS CTC before August 20th to allow for processing and paperwork.

Please review the Students With Disabilities website and contact the CRHS Campus Testing Coordinator, Jenny Strait, at for assistance.

Homeschool and Private School Students:  Registration for homeschool and private school students will not begin until September 5th. Please look here for a link to sign up on that date.  Registration will not be taken prior to September 5th.

TSIA Testing at CRHS

Cinco Ranch High School is offering free TSIA (Texas Success Initiative Assessment) for seniors twice during the 2019-2020 school year.

The TSIA is a college readiness exam offered by College Board and the state of Texas to help students entering college.  It allows a student who did not make a "college-readiness" score on the SAT/ACT to take this exam and enter college taking on-level math and reading courses without having to take a remedial course if they receive a passing score.

12th grade students enrolled at CRHS

**You must take both the reading and math portion of the exam if you are testing at CRHS.  The two tests will be combined into one testing session that should take anywhere from 1-4 hours to complete.

Please understand that you are registering to take both the reading and math portion of the exam. If you do NOT want to take both tests, or if you are also wanting to take the writing portion of the TSIA, you will need to register to take the exam(s) at HCC or another community college instead. It is my understanding that it is $29 to take all three exams or $10 for each individual exam.
