December End-of-Course Testing

Students are required to meet standard on all EOC assessments (English I, English II, Algebra I, Biology, and US History) in order to meet graduation requirements.  If your child has completed one or more of these courses, during the previous school year or over the summer, and has not taken the test and met standard, they will need to take the EOC exam for that subject during the December testing window.  Letters to CRHS students who will be testing this December have already been sent home.  Please contact Jenny Strait if you have any questions.

Specific room assignments will be posted upstairs in the 2600's hallway the morning of your assigned test.  Report to that area no later than 7:15 a.m. so that you may find your testing room by 7:25 am.  DO NOT go to 1st period.  You will report directly for testing.  You will be released to your regular class when you have completed testing.

If you receive special accommodations, a notice with further details will be sent to you during your 2nd period class the week of November 27th.

STAAR EOC Spring  2017 and Summer 2017 Testing Results

STAAR EOC scores are available through the Home Access Center (HAC).  Please follow the directions on the attached document to locate your student's "Access Code" then go to the Texas Student Portal at https://txparentportal.emetric.net/login?returnUrl=/list to look up scores.  Scores and copies of the students Confidential Student Report will no longer be mailed home.  You must use the Student Portal to retrieve those items.  If you are having trouble finding the Access Code in the HAC, you can click on "Lookup Access Code" on the above website and use the name, PEIMS ID (usually the social security number), and birthdate of the student you are trying to look up to get the Access Code.

Passing standard is now called "Approaches Grade Level".  Any score that falls in the Approaches Grade Level, Meets Grade Level, and Masters Grade Level is considered a passing score.  Students who "Did Not Meet Grade Level" on their STAAR EOC will receive a letter in the mail.

Retesting opportunities for students who did not meet standard or who were absent for testing will be provided during the week of December 4-8, 2017. More information will be sent home in November. Students attending a Katy ISD school will not need to register for December testing and will automatically be enrolled by their campus testing coordinator.

Please contact Jenny Strait, CRHS Campus Testing Coordinator at 281-237-5184 or JenniferRStrait@katyisd.org if you have any questions.
