Cinco Ranch High School

Student Zone

Semester Exam info.

Did you know that Cinco Ranch allows you to exempt a semester exam if you meet all of the requirements? But remember, regardless of whether an absence is excused or unexcused, it WILL count against exemptions.

Exemption cards will be distributed during all lunches on Wednesday, December 6th and Thursday, December 7th and you must have a current school ID to get yours.

If you believe you have an extenuating circumstance and wish to apply for an exception of 1 to 2 additional absences, you can pick up an application in your grade level principals office.  These forms are due to your grade level principal on or before Thursday, December 7th by 3 pm.  No applications will be accepted after this date!

Junior GT students or juniors with a 3.8+ GPA:

The PACE class is an elective course at Miller Career & Technology Center that carries a 5.0 GPA weight and is limited to GT students or students with a 3.8+ GPA. If you are a parent of a junior who meets the requirement, please consider this unique internship opportunity for his/her senior year through the PACE program. You can visit the teacher’s webpage at for detailed information.  Students have a rare opportunity through PACE to intern in any field they want, to gain valuable experience and industry knowledge, and to learn what it means to be a professional.
