Book Check Out:
Students may have three books out a time, due after three weeks.
Reading classes rotate on a three-week schedule throughout the year for student check out, but students may also come before/after school, after lunch, or with a hall pass from a teacher during Periods 1-7. Students may also check out during advisory, but only with an advisory pass from the librarian.
Students must have a valid student ID (with photo visible) in order to check out books. If a student has an overdue or lost book, they are limited to checking out one book at a time until the account is clear.
Students who wish to use a school computer to do homework, to print documents for an assignment, or to check out books and read may request a library pass from the circulation desk until 1 pm any day. Passes are handed out on a first-come, first-served basis, with 15 computers available for student use.
Students may purchase replacement IDs ($3) and lanyards ($1) in the library before school, before lunch, or with a pass.
Laws and regulations governing the reproduction of copyrighted materials will be observed. Students are responsible for the compliance of copyright rules.
