The Business Office is led by the Business Manager who is responsible for the areas of Budget, Cash Management, Payroll and Accounts Payable. The Business Manager reports to the Chief Financial Officer who has overall responsibility for the Financial Matters of the district.

Insufficient Check Collection

Katy ISD has contracted with a check recovery service to collect any insufficient fund checks made out to any district activity, including food services. The recovery service will charge a $30.00 fee for all checks returned by the bank for insufficient funds. the service will first try to debit the check writer's account electronically and then by writing letters or telephoning the check writer. Insufficient checks may be paid to the check recovery company by credit card, debit card, money orders or by electronic check over the phone.
