Special Events, Reservations, & Marketing

The Special Events, Reservations, & Marketing Department serves the Katy ISD community by providing a variety of levels of support to the Katy Independent School District and the surrounding community. Our department responsibilities include scheduling all special events held in the Leonard E. Merrell Center, coordinating community use of Katy ISD facilities, and overseeing the district’s marketing and advertising efforts by cultivating relationships with corporate sponsors of Katy ISD.

Katy ISD strives to provide excellent customer service to user groups wishing to utilize Katy ISD facilities for activities. Each year, more than 30,000 events are held in Katy ISD facilities.
