Attendance Boundary Modifications 2013-14

Population and Survey Analysts (PASA)

PASA has been assessing student populations and the possibilities for attendance boundary modifications for Katy ISD and districts throughout Texas for many years. To address growth in the District's southwest quadrant, Katy ISD has asked PASA to develop a recommendation for new attendance zones that would address enrollment at Elementary Schools #36 and #37 scheduled to open in August 2014, as well as balancing enrollment between Shafer and Stanley Elementary Schools.

What is an Attendance Boundary Modification (ABM) and why is it necessary? To learn more about ABMs, review the list of Frequently Asked Questions.
