Qualifications for Substitute Teachers

• SubBlitz Registration
• Complete the online application
• 60 minimum semester/quarter hours completed
• Proof of right to work in the U.S.
• Criminal History Check Required
• Interview and Skills Test

Rate (Board approved July 22, 2008)

Paraprofessional (Aide/General Office Personnel)
Daily Rate: $65.00
Long Term Rate:
Special Education: $75.00
Clerical/Non-Special Education: $70.00

Teacher-Librarian: 60 college hours or above
Daily Rate: $75.00
No long term assignments for teachers.

Teacher-Librarian, Degree (non-certified): Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorates:
Daily Rate: $85.00
Long Term Rate: $150.00

Teacher-Librarian with Teacher Certification:
Daily Rate: $90.00
Long Term Rate: $175.00

*** Long Term Rates begin after 20 days in the same assignment.
